“Carols on the cliffs” is returning to Carvoeiro on Thursday, December 19 at 6pm. The meeting point is Carvoeiro Church at the top of the eastern hill.
All are welcome to this free community singing event, which sees Christmas Carols being sung from the top of the cliffs overlooking Carvoeiro.
The event will be fundraising for the Portimão girls’ home Casa de Nossa Senhora de Conceição and local charities.
Organisers of this “non-denominational and multilingual (English, French, German and Portuguese)” event recommend participants wear warm outdoor clothing and a Santa hat (optional).
Around 250 people attended last year with organisers expecting 300 this time. Refreshments will be available. The event is supported by Lagoa Council.
