Caravel promotion

Portugal’s much-loved ‘Boa Esperança’ replica of ancient caravels used in the Age of the Discoveries is continuing to fly the flag for Algarve tourism. She sets sail on a promotional voyage this month to Galicia in Spain, with stops in Corunna, Baiona and Vigo, scheduled to wow Spanish business people, journalists and public entities. The initiative is led by the Algarve’s tourism board (RTA) and supported by Spanish foundation Fundación Nao Victoria.
