Lagos will have new car parks in 2010, providing residents and visitors with a total of 900 parking spaces in the city.
According to Carlos Albuquerque, president of the municipal company Futurlagos, the construction of two car parks, estimated to cost 15.5 million euros, is progressing well and they should open to the public next year.
The Anel Verde car park near the city’s historic centre is due to open at the beginning of 2010, while the second car park along the city’s riverfront is due to be finished before the start of the next summer season.
