WIDE EYES and looks of disbelief were on the faces of many of the young students of the International Preparatory School (IPS) in Lisbon last week, as the Capoeira performing troupe of Paço d’Arcos visited the school for a demonstration of their acrobatic agility. The whole act had the students spellbound as the musically backed performance had bodies diving and twisting in unimaginable positions. One thing is for sure, the spontaneous applause by students and teachers was well deserved.
