A SPECIAL photo exhibition, Women presidents in Portuguese câmaras against Cancer, was inaugurated on Monday at Silves Câmara.
The event aims to alert women to cancer and has the participation of many public figures. The opening was presided over by television entertainer and writer Fátima Lopes, who traditionally embraces women’s causes.
The photos were taken by international photographer Rankin, who focused on the emotional ties between the cancer patient and the person who followed her during the treatment and recovery stage.
The exhibition runs until November 24, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
