League leaders SC Farense were a goal down at home to Pinhalnovense after the league’s top scorer Diego Zaporo slotted home from the penalty spot midway through the first-half. With the clock ticking down, substitute Octávio Barros popped up to grab a 90th minute equaliser to keep the Faro side seven points clear of Casa Pia (Lisbon) at the top of the table. The two teams meet in Lisbon on Sunday.
Farense have also signed two reinforcements in their quest to gain promotion to the Segunda Liga.
Twenty-nine-year-old defender Delmiro, who played for them two seasons ago, returns following a spell at Varzim and more recently with Arenas de Getxo in the Spanish second tier.
Nuno Borges, 29, has been signed from Sacavenense (Loures) where he scored seven times in 17 outings this season. The midfielder was a junior with Farense some 12 years ago.
It was a successful trip to the Algarve for Azores sides SC Ideal, who won 1-0 at Lusitano VRSA, and Clube Operário Desportivo, 2-1 victors at Almancilense.
