SC Farense maintained their perfect start to the season with a hard-fought win at Pinhalnovense thanks to a goal from Neca two minutes from time.
Moncarapachense beat Armacenenses 2-0 with a brace of goals from Fábio Marques. Almancilense travelled to the Azores where they picked up their first point of the season with a 0-0 draw against C. Operário Desportivo.
Farense remain top with nine points from three games whilst Olhanense, still to concede a goal, are close behind on seven points.
On Sunday, fixtures throw up another Algarve derby between Lusitano VRSA and SC Olhanense at the Complexo Desportivo Municipal de Vila Real de Santo António. Other local games are SC Farense v. Casa Pia AC, Louletano DC v. C.
Operário Desportivo, Almansilense v. Moura AC and Armacenenses v. Pinhalnovense. All games start at 5pm.
