Câmara and parishes to join forces

A proposal for cooperation between Lagos Câmara and its parish councils that would see them working together on several projects and initiatives this year has been signed. The aim is that social and cultural activities can be developed in a more effective way, with the Câmara responsible for supervising the projects. These include social and economic assistance for families and businesses affected by the recession and the organisation of leisure and cultural events “that bring some hope to residents for the future”, said the Câmara in a press statement.
