Calling all Potterheads: Lagos Zoo to open Magizoology Centre for Halloween

Have you ever wanted to learn about the magical creatures of J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world? If so, you can finally become a student of Magizoology (the study of magical creatures) on Halloween weekend at Lagos Zoo.

Visitors will be invited to learn how to make spider webs, owl eyes and take part in a sorting hat ceremony to be placed in an “animal team”.

“And at night, you can even learn more about the nocturnal creatures that visit the zoo and listen to the bats’ ultrasonic sounds,” it adds.

Guests must book their place in the Magizoology course in advance, although there will be many other Halloween-themed activities taking place at the zoo this month.
