NETWORK, THE association of working and businesswomen in the Algarve, welcomes members and non members to attend their 15th anniversary seminar, entitled ‘Maximise profits, minimise taxes’, taking place on Friday, November 25, at Hotel Náutico in Armação de Pêra.
Dra Filomena Ramilo, a chartered tax accountant and advisor of Granja Centro Empresarial in Sintra with 26 years’ experience, will present the seminar and will be joined by Dr Serra Jorge, lawyer, and Dr. Jorge Scharfhausen, economist.
The seminar will focus on improving your knowledge of the new tax laws for 2006 and how to utilise them to your advantage. Other key topics will include: different ways of taxation for companies and individuals; IRC for companies; IRS for individuals; legal requirements; organising documentation for the government; subsidies from the government and different ways of setting up a business in Portugal.
