A CALENDAR featuring Rescue Dogs and the People Who Love Them, reported in The Resident last week, has proved to be a great hit and a re-print has already been planned.
The news came in an email this week from Roxanne Charley, one of the authors of the calendar. She added that next year they would do another one as “we already have people calling to be in it”. The money raised by sales is going to Quintinha dos Animais in Goldra, near Faro.
It can be purchased at the Griffin Bookshop, Camelia’s Quinta Shopping, Dunas Quinta Shopping, Phillippe Stabile Salon, in Almancil, Canham Veterinarian Clinic, in Areeiro, Papa’s Pet Supply, Shoes and Cards 4 U, Shakespeare’s Restaurant, in Vilamoura, and La Dolce Vita, in Almancil.
