Caldas da Rainha holds demo outside PM’s official residence

The population of Caldas da Rainha is due to take part in a demonstration outside the prime minister’s official residence in São Bento today, and in front of the Assembleia da República (parliament) over the closure of the borough’s hospital. The protest is supported by the local town council which has said it hopes to transport as many as 2,000 people to the capital to make their anger heard.
