Visitors to Loulé will be able to watch the traditional art of laying calçada during demonstrations to take place every Saturday in September between 11am and midday.
A guide will be on site where works are taking place in the Praça da República and the Largo Dr. Bernardo Lopes in the centre of Loulé to explain the techniques used in this Portuguese road laying technique.
Meanwhile, information will also be given by the guides about the historical buildings in the city including the municipal market, the area around the convent and the castle.
