The Convento de S. José is hosting its 19th edition of the Conventual Sweets Show between August 31 and September 3.
Lagoa’s 19th edition of the Conventual Sweet Show starts on Thursday, August 31, at the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José.
The event runs daily until September 3, between 19:00 and 00:00 and is free of admission.
The annual event offers cakes, sweets, jams, honey, or classic drinks tastings, such as Medronho (arbutus brandy), in a conventual setting.
The “19ª Mostra do Doce Conventual de Lagoa” also features daily cultural entertainment, including the 2nd edition of the National Rural Song Festival and the inauguration of the thematic exhibition Voyage to the Fantastic World of ANART by Ana Remígio.
