A CRIMINAL nicknamed the “butt bandit” by local residents in the US city of Valentine, Nebraska, has received a stiff prison sentence for his cheeky misdemeanors.
Thomas Larvie, aged 35, was caught in the act of making greasy imprints of his nether parts on windows.
Cherry County Attorney Eric Scott said that Larvie was sentenced to almost 14 months in jail after being convicted of eight misdemeanor counts of public indecency and one of disturbing the peace.
According to the authorities, Thomas Larvie used lotion or petroleum jelly to make imprints of his naked behind and sometimes his groin on the windows of shops, churches and schools in the city since spring 2007.
Townspeople nicknamed the vandal the “butt bandit”, even though no thefts took place.
