A 40-year-old cyclist was seriously injured in Lisbon this week when he was run over by a bus. The accident happened in Rua Gomes Freire on Monday afternoon and the man was trapped underneath the bus until firemen managed to free him. The cyclist was then taken to nearby Hospital de São José where his condition was described as serious.
