A 23-year-old Portuguese was caught red-handed breaking into a house in Santa Bárbara de Nexe on Sunday afternoon (April 19). A neighbour sounded the alarm at around 5pm. Police found the man hiding in an annex, already having removed two LCD TVs which were prepared for loading into a parked vehicle. The young man was due to be heard in court.
