The Algarve has welcomed a new summer air link to Italy.
Starting June 1, 2018 and until the end of October, British low-cost airline easyJet will be running a route between Faro and Milan with two weekly flights on Monday and Friday aboard an A319.
The Algarve tourism association (ATA) has welcomed the news as the Italian market is among those that have been growing the most in the region.
In 2016, around 108,000 overnight stays by Italian holidaymakers were registered in the Algarve.
