Bullying in Portugal

A survey into bullying of children is to be carried out by the National Commission of Children at Risk (CNCJR).

“There are no concrete statistics about bullying in Portugal because the reported cases are referred to as acts of aggression, humiliation and exclusion,” said the president of CNCJR, Armando Leandro.

He also recognised that the phenomenon “has to be stopped by measures of prevention”.
