A 15-year-old schoolboy who committed suicide at the weekend appears to be the latest victim of schoolyard bullies, reports Correio da Manhã newspaper. Nélson Antunes from Braga hanged himself in his home after “constant” misery and humiliation, said neighbours. The family has requested a full investigation by the police authorities into his death. This latest death follows a similar tragedy in 2010 when a 12-year-old boy drowned in a river in Mirandela, as he tried to evade bullies.
