German artist Jan Vormann has taken an unusual step in making voluntary repair works to buildings in New York using children’s building blocks instead of conventional building materials.
Exposed brick work at various locations around the Big Apple have had a Lego makeover as Jan Vormann and his assistants do their bit for art and the building trade in the city.
New York is the tenth city to receive the colourful renovations with similar works being carried out in other cities in the past including in Tel Aviv, St. Petersburg and Quito.
