The regional commission of left-wing political party Bloco de Esquerda (BE) has criticised the proposed State Budget for 2022, stating that it lacks “structural investments” for the Algarve such as the long-promised central hospital.
The party accuses the government of “letting the Algarve down” and describes it as “inconceivable” that the budget does not include the perennially delayed renovation of the eastern section of the EN125 road.
