Silves Câmara budget has finally been approved after months of political quarrels.
Totalling €47 million, the budget for 2012 was passed in the Municipal Assembly with votes for by the PSD party, abstention by the PS and BE parties and votes against by the CDU.
The delay in approving the câmara budget has led to financial difficulties in the municipality’s parish councils and firefighter associations.
