Brussels “could block Portuguese ‘Mais Habitação’ policy

Reports today suggest there are even more obstacles in line for the government’s controversial ‘Mais Habitação’ (housing) policy. The restrictions outlined for Alojamento Local (properties put up for short-term tourist rentals) could be deemed ‘disproportionally restrictive’, says Diário de Notícias, referring to a similar rejection for proposals along the same lines made in Ireland.
