Brussels chooses Lisbon, Porto and Guimarães for climate neutral status

Lisbon, Porto and Guimarães have been chosen by Brussels to participate a new mission towards ‘innovative ecosystems focused on climate neutrality’. The project involves 100 European cities which are being selected to become ‘climate neutral’ and ‘smart’ by 2030 – the longer term idea being that all European cities will be in this position by 2050. Lisbon Mayor Carlos Moedas has described the selection of Lisbon as a “very important seal of quality”.
