Browns host teams

Browns Sports and Leisure Club has announced refurbishments to its high performance gym following fire damage in December.

Taking the opportunity to update equipment, they now have a 25m Astroturf running track and a 130m-squared wooden deck outside bordering additional grass sports grounds.

Meanwhile, the club has hosted a number of world class national football teams to prepare for major international sporting events.

The Polish team Wisla Krakow spent 10 days training at the club in readiness for the European League during their mid-season tour, and both Japanese and Danish women’s teams were recently there to train for the Algarve Cup 2012 (see Sport section for news about it). It was the second year that the Japanese team was resident at Browns for the tournament.
