A SHOW featuring a collection of songs from Broadway’s best-known musicals is being staged at Portimão’s municipal auditorium on August 25 and 26 at 10pm.
The Broadway spectacular, entitled ‘O Musical dos Musicais’ (the musical of musicals), features excerpts from hit shows such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, Evita, Cabaret, Cats, Chicago, West Side Story, My Fair Lady and Hello Dolly.
This is a production by the Brno Musical Theatre Company from the Czech Republic and an initiative from Portimão Câmara, being produced by Terra D’Arte.
More than 60 artists will be performing as part of a grand stage show full of special effects, colour and light, which promises to transport the audience on a journey featuring some of the best musicals of our times.
Tickets are now on sale at the municipal auditorium, between 11am and 8pm, and cost 18 euros each. Advance reservations can be made by calling 917 210 389.
