Brits with Parkinson’s Disease on trip to Algarve

A GROUP of 22 Brits suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and their families are enjoying a two-week holiday in the Algarve, staying at the Atlantis Hotel in Vilamoura until March 20. The visit has been organised by the Worthing branch of the Parkinson’s Disease Society in the UK and Loulé Câmara is lending its support, making it possible for the group to visit the borough and various points of interest in the Algarve. On March 14, during their visit to Loulé, the group will get together for a social event with members of the Associação Portuguesa de Doentes de Parkinson, the Portuguese association for sufferers of the disease.
