THE BRITISH woman shot by her Portuguese neighbour is still in a coma in a recovery ward in Lisbon (See The Resident, February 1).
Kirsty MacGowan, aged 57 suffered two gun shots, one to the neck and another to the head in December in front of her home on Rua do Sol Posto, Olhão.
A hospital source told The Resident on Wednesday: “The lady has had several operations and has now been transferred out of intensive care but remains in a coma.
“It is still too early to tell whether she will recover, but she is visited by family.”
