An 18-year-old British man was arrested by Lagos GNR on September 29 for drug trafficking.
The GNR told the Algarve Resident that the youth was approached by the police while walking in Praia da Luz. “He was very nervous, which led the GNR to ask for his identification and search him,” said a statement.
The GNR seized 315 doses of cannabis, four grams of liamba, a form of dry cannabis, a set of precision scales and a mobile telephone.
The man appeared before a judge at Lagos court the following day and was then released pending trial.
