A British holidaymaker was rescued by firemen using ropes and climbing gear after she fell in an area with difficult access at the well-known Pincho beauty spot in Amonde (Viana do Castelo) on Monday. The 40-year-old woman fell around 10 metres, but managed to escape with only a fracture to her foot. She was winched to safety and transported to hospital, though the operation took time due to access problems.
