British toddler saved from drowning at Algarve hotel

A two-year-old British boy has been taken to Faro Hospital after being saved from drowning in a pool at the Hotel Monte Real Golf in Vila Nova de Cacela.

By the time firefighters arrived shortly after 10am, the boy had already been pulled out of the pool and was crying, reports Correio da Manhã tabloid.

The child was taken to Faro Hospital.
