British police liaise with Portuguese

ESSEX POLICE have confirmed that they are now liaising with Portuguese police in the investigation surrounding the disappearance of Paul Duckenfield (see The Resident November 28).

According to a spokesman from Essex police, Portuguese police authorities are not officially investigating the case because the possible murder most likely occurred in the UK although Portuguese police are aware that enquires are being made by British police while in Portugal.
