British charity urges search for missing Jayden Pearson

Jayden, 14, was taken by his father almost a year ago

British charity LBT Global has issued a new call for information on the location of missing 14 year old Jayden Pearson, who has been missing, presumably still in Portugal, since August last year.

“Jayden’s father took him against his mother’s wishes, despite the fact she has legal custody”, says LBT latest appeal, sent out to newspaper offices.

Mother Rebecca has tried all the social media appeals; press appeals that she can muster, but there has still been no information coming forwards.

British overseas crisis support charity LBT Global has now decided it’s time for new impetus:

“It is hard to imagine how difficult the last 12 months have been for Jayden’s mum”, writes Chief Executive Matthew Searle. “I urge anyone in Spain or Portugal who knows where Jayden and his father are, or who have any information, to please come forward.

I understand how some may feel Jayden is safe and well as he is with his father, but it is important for his health, safety and wellbeing that he is located and safely brought home.

“We are assisting police in the UK in their efforts to locate Jayden and people with information can contact them directly or us.

“Whatever information you have, for whatever reason you are withholding it, please, now is the time to come forward.”

Jayden’s mother has added to this latest plea, saying: “It is nearly a year since I saw my son. We are desperate for him to be found and brought home. I’m relying on the public to bring news, please help if you have anything.”
