British Airways to link Faro to Gatwick as part of new budget airline

British Airways has confirmed the launch of a new short-haul subsidiary operating under the same name which will offer low-cost flights from Gatwick Airport to 35 destinations, including Faro.

The flights will begin in March with ticket fares starting at £39. Tickets are already being sold on the airline’s website.

BA will thus look to compete with easyJet, which, at the moment, is the biggest airline at Gatwick.
