Motorway concession company Brisa has been condemned to pay the €4,222 repair bill for a car that collided with a wild boar on the A3 motorway in 2017. The central administrative court ruled that it is the responsibility of motorway concessions to “assure good conditions of safety” for cars circulating on motorways (and more often than not, paying for the privilege)… this has clearly been a case in which the driver of the damaged car had to battle. An earlier court had ‘absolved Brisa of liability’. This new decision has ordered the company to pay compensation, with interest, reports Correio da Manhã today.
