ITALIAN COMPANY La Fattoria launched a range of Italian wines at the Hotel Hilton Vilamoura.
Manuel Moreira, voted best sommelier in Europe 2008, helped to present the wines to 150 guests at the launch on October 9.
Wines featured by the company include those from the Berlucchi, Beni di Basasiolol, Vietti and Biondi Santi wineries of Italy.
The launch in the Algarve is the first step by La Fattoria in its plans to infiltrate the Portuguese wine market.
On October 29, the company will be at the Italian embassy in Lisbon as part of an event to promote Italian businesses in Portugal.
