Taste Restaurant in Carvoeiro is hosting a series of events during Easter Week.
A spring fair including handicrafts and children’s entertainment is taking place on April 1 from noon to 5pm with Rui Sax live music. The fair will also serve to celebrate the opening of the restaurant’s refurbished terrace.
Then on April 5, there will be live music and a music quiz with Cuffs & Collars, including a three-course menu for €20 per person.
On April 8, an Easter Sunday Lunch, including three course menu for €20 per person, is being organised.

Algarve gourmet food tasting
To welcome the new Algarve Gourmet Food brand to the market, Bar Carib in Praia da Luz will be hosting a tasting event today (March 23) from 5pm until 8pm.
Algarve Gourmet Food is a new company launched in the Algarve by an English family.
Products include a range of homemade sausages, pies, cured hams, vegetable bakes, home smoked salmon and much more.
All produce is additive and chemical free.

Dry cleaning franchise 5àSEC has opened a store at the recently-opened Intermarché supermarket in Monchique. The store, owned by Lago a Seco Lda, will offer all the usual 5àSEC services such as dry cleaning and laundry, using environmentally friendly methods.
Philippe Bourroux from Lago a Seco Lda said: “The new cleaning technology used allows us to economise time, therefore we can provide a more customer-centered service.”
5àSEC currently has 256 stores in Portugal, employing around 1,000 people.
