FOUR PEOPLE were injured and there were severe traffic delays when a bus and a small vehicle collided on Lisbon’s Vasco da Gama Bridge on Tuesday evening at around 6pm.
The crash, which affected all three lanes, occurred on the Lisbon-Montijo side of the bridge.
This forced traffic to travel slowly in single file along the hard shoulder and it was only around five hours later that traffic was able to move more swiftly.
The injured were treated in hospital but there were no serious casualties.
