AWARENESS SESSIONS to alert the public to the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer are being organised in the Vila do Bispo area by the Associação Oncológica do Algarve (AOA).
As well as offering advice and answering questions, the AOA team will also be encouraging women to take advantage of the free breast screening programme, aimed at women between the ages of 50 and 65. Awareness sessions will be held at the Junta de Freguesia de Sagres tomorrow (Saturday, March 17) at 2pm and at the Junta de Freguesia de Vila do Bispo at 4.30pm. On Sunday there will be a session at the Junta de Freguesia de Budens at 4pm.
