Bread robbery

TWO AUSTRALIANS were jailed earlier this week after they attempted to steal a bag of bread rolls from a Melbourne restaurant.

During the robbery, Benjamin Jorgensen grabbed what he thought was a bag of money, only to find it contained bread rolls and he also accidentally fired his gun, hitting his accomplice, Donna Hayes, in the buttock. Jorgensen and Hayes were sentenced to seven and eight years, respectively, for the robbery. Judge Roland Williams described them as a “pair of fools”.
