It’s confirmed: Brazil’s president-elect Lula da Silva will be visiting Portugal on the first leg of an international tour following his presence at COP27 in Egypt. The office of prime minister António Costa has confirmed the dates – November 18 and 19 – although Mr da Silva itinerary is still to be confirmed. It is more than likely that the soon-to-be president will have audiences with not only Mr Costa, but President Marcelo as well.
