Brazilian food demo comes to São Brás market

Brazilian cuisine will be the theme of a cooking demonstration to take place on Saturday morning (October 31) at São Brás de Alportel market.

Chef Jeverdal Santos will be explaining how to cook some Brazilian favourites such as lemon grass soup, ‘moqueca de peixe’ (a typical fish stew), and pineapple and coconut ‘pavé’ (a biscuit cake).

Santos is the pastry Chef at Moura Pão in Quarteira. He has already worked at the Hotel Adriana and Tivoli Vitoria and also has experience as a pizzaiolo.

His cooking demonstration is open to everyone.
