Brazilian aviation company to “invest more” in Portugal, says Portas

Deputy Prime Minister Paulo Portas has announced that Brazilian aviation company Embraer is “preparing to invest more and more decisively in Portugal”.

Without saying much, the country’s second-in-command told journalists on Monday (April 6) that the new investments would represent an “increase in production and construction capacity” at the company’s two factories in Évora.

Sources have told Diário do Notícias that the investments, worth “many millions of euros”, focus on the production of small commercial jets.
