BPCC seeks Southern Area representative

The British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (BPCC) has announced it is recruiting a part-time representative for the Southern Area of Portugal to be based in the Algarve.

Main responsibilities include “interacting with local members, recruiting new members, reporting on any newsworthy items which may affect local members, organising local events and providing support for inward and outward trade missions and trade fairs.”

Candidates should be bilingual in English and Portuguese, have prior working experience in southern Portugal and have their own car.

“This is a part-time position and likely to appeal to individuals with a flexible work schedule,” says the BPCC.

Applications must be sent to: [email protected]

Founded in 1911, the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce describes itself as an independent, non-profit organisation that aims to “promote the interests of its membership in respect to commercial links between businesses in the United Kingdom and Portugal.”

The BPCC achieves this mainly through “a comprehensive programme of live and online events, and by making available a number of very useful business services”.
