A 10-year-old boy was rescued from a rubbish bin after being trapped inside it by a group of “friends” around the same age on Sunday night (June 25) in Pinhal Novo, Palmela.
National tabloid Correio da Manhã says “luckily the boy had his cell phone with him” which he used to call his mother, who warned the local firefighters.
The child did not sustain injuries but was taken nonetheless to Setúbal’s São Bernando Hospital.
