Round four of the Bowls league championship saw the Alvor Greens remain unbeaten following an away win at Parque de Floresta against the Crusaders by 57-45 and by six points to two.
The Sinners trounced the Valverde Vulcans by 72-26 taking all eight points and lifting themselves to fourth in the table.
Tavira Tigers were beaten by the Alvor Gladiators by 65-54 and six points to two.
Alvor Harlequins also continued to improve their situation with an away win at Valverde Vikings by 61-38 and six points to two.
It was also a big day for the Amendoeira Nuts who recorded their first ever league victory by 62-46 over the Alvor Amigos. Nuts took six points and the Amigos took two and the Nuts lifted themselves off the bottom of the table.
Finally, the Pedras Panthers entertained the ABC Cats, who were unfortunately only able to field two triples. Panthers ran out winners by 59-25 and took all eight points, whilst the Cats were additionally deducted a further two points and ten shots for not raising a full side.
Greens continue out in front with 30 points, whilst the Panthers are on 25 in second.
Gladiators improve to third on 20 points and Sinners also advance to fourth on 18 points.
Tigers have 16 points, closely followed by Crusaders on 15 and Harlequins on 14.
Cats drop to eighth with 12 points, mainly due to their penalty deduction, whilst Vikings are on 10 and Vulcans have 8.
Nuts move up one place after their win on October 31 and now have eight points, just ahead of the Amigos with six points.
