Albufeira Bowls Club organised a charity match on December 7 at Clube Praia da Oura in aid of the Pirilampos children’s home in Albufeira.
This annual event once again proved popular with members of Bowls Algarve who were generous in their support.
“A great day was had by both players and visitors who donated over 100 gifts for the children. In all, the game raised €920 and is still rising,” said organisers.
The winners of the Jack Petchey Trophy were The Hollies team from Albufeira.
