Round two was played at PDF and the Kestrels continue their good start to the new league season with a 40-30 victory over the Alvor Larks, Kestrels taking the full ten points.
Alvor Doves, meanwhile, had a closer match against the Alvor Canaries, winning by 37-31 and earning eight points to two. Both PDF sides had a good day, Pilgrims overcoming the Alvor Eagles by 38 -26 and by eight points to two. The Pacemakers also had their first win, defeating the Amendoeira Nuts by 59-43 and gaining eight points to two for the Nuts.
Kestrels remain out in front with a maximum 20 points, followed by the Doves on 15 and the Pilgrims with 11 points. Eagles are in fourth with 10 points while the Pacemakers move up also, now with 8 points. The Larks are on 6 as are the Canaries and the Nuts now have four points.
Round three was due to be played yesterday (Thursday) at Amendoeira.
