Amigos Unfriendly to Harlequins – Panthers Sink Vikings
A busy week for all teams, playing their third match in eight days on Saturday, November 21 to keep up with an expanded and hard-fought programme.
Alvor Greens recovered well from their heavy defeat in mid-week by beating the Alvor Gladiators by 55-45, taking six points to two and clinging on to top spot in the table.
ABC Cats, meanwhile, continued their rich run of form by travelling to PDF and thrashing the Sinners by 86-32. Cats earned the full eight points and closed the gap at the top of the table with the Greens to two points.
The Crusaders were also at home at PDF and took full advantage, beating the Valverde Vulcans by 96-38 and bagging all the eight points. Crusaders continue their realistic title challenge in third place, having scored the most shots (513) among all the twelve teams.
Another team enjoying a good run of form is the Alvor Amigos, who notched up another good victory by narrowly beating the Alvor Harlequins by 51-47. 57-41 victory and six points to two.
